We currently use Cloudflare Turnstile to protect forms and Website functionality against spam, automated submissions, bots and malicious activity.
Cloudflare Turnstile may process technical signals such as IP address, TLS fingerprint, User-Agent information, the Turnstile site key and the associated website origin in order to distinguish legitimate users from automated traffic. Cloudflare states that these signals are used for security and bot detection rather than advertising or user profiling.

Purpose: Website security, bot detection, spam prevention and protection of forms.
Category: Strictly necessary / security.
By default, a Turnstile widget issues a one-time security token that must be validated by the Website. If Cloudflare Turnstile pre-clearance is enabled, Cloudflare may additionally issue a cf_clearance cookie indicating that the visitor has successfully passed Cloudflare’s security verification. Cloudflare states that pre-clearance is disabled by default for Turnstile widgets.
The technical signals used by Turnstile are considered necessary by Cloudflare for detecting and blocking automated traffic and protecting websites against malicious activity.

4. Strictly Necessary Technologies
Strictly necessary technologies are used to provide functionality explicitly requested by the visitor or to ensure the security and proper operation of the Website.
These technologies may be used for purposes such as:
- Website and form security;
- protection against automated abuse and malicious traffic;
- maintaining technical functionality;
- managing security verification;
- preventing spam and fraudulent submissions.
Under applicable Italian rules, technologies that are strictly necessary for providing a requested service do not require prior consent, although users must still be informed about their use.
5. Analytics, Advertising and Profiling
At the date of this Cookie Policy, this policy does not describe any advertising or profiling technologies.
If InBrief introduces analytics, advertising, profiling or other non-essential tracking technologies, this Cookie Policy and the Website’s consent mechanisms will be updated accordingly before those technologies are used where consent is required.
